Olive Oil Helps Prevent Breast Cancer

Olive oil is oil obtained from olives, a traditional tree from the Mediterranean. Olive oil comes from olive trees that grow slowly, have wrinkled stems and slim gray with cracked branches.

Women who eat intake containing olive oil extracts, for example with a Mediterranean diet, have a lower risk of developing breast cancer. A study says women who add olive oil to their diet have a 62 percent lower risk of breast cancer over the next five years or more, according to researchers at the University of Navarra in Pamplona.

Other research shows that applying the Mediterranean diet can also reduce the likelihood of developing heart disease, type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure and even Alzheimer's disease. This is because the menus and ingredients used are based on vegetables, fruit, nuts, potatoes, seeds, breads, herbs, spices, fish, seafood, and most importantly they always use olive oil extracts in processed foods a day -day.

How can Olive Oil Prevent Breast Cancer?

Why is olive oil so special? Olive extract means olives which are squeezed naturally (without a mixture of other oils) and without heating or adding chemicals that can change their chemical properties.

Quoted from, research conducted by the journal Molecular and Cellular Oncology explains, the olive oil contained a healthy substance called oleocanthal. Oleocanthal if consumed will work by breaking down the cell nucleus called lysosomes and then oleocanthal will secrete good proteins that can kill cancer cells produced by saturated fats from unhealthy foods.

In trials, scientists inject olive oil into cancer cells and cancer cells can die within 30 minutes to 1 hour. Lysosomes are the center of cell recycling in the human body. When you consume olive oil, you will destroy the defenses of cancer cells, as research by Rutgers University in the United States explains. The good thing again, leocanthal substances do not harm other healthy cells, so that the health of other members of the body is not disturbed.

Other Benefits of Olive Oil

Recent studies have shown that olive oil provides protection against human body cancer cells. Research has looked into the body's metabolic fat content, specifically the role of olive oil. Olive oil prevents cancer with several ingredients in it, such as antioxidants, flavonoids, polyphenols and squalene which have a positive effect on health. Squalene is believed to have beneficial effects on the skin by reducing melanoma (cancerous substances in skin pigment cells)

Another thing that is beneficial besides preventing cancer is, unsaturated fats in olive oil which can reduce the production of prostaglandins derived from arachidonic acid. This substance plays a role in producing and developing tumor cells. Olive oil which is rich in benefits is also associated with a reduced risk of colon cancer. The protective effect of olive oil can prevent cancer also can not be separated from the amount of fruits and vegetables eaten in daily intake.
